Blending classic songwriting with the polished feel of international Smooth Jazz, project Volare introduces global audiences to the modern standards of 1970s, 80s, and 90s Italian pop. While deeply cherishing, loving, and respecting the older traditional Italian-American repertoireāpaying homage to that heritage through its very nameāthe ensemble moves into a fresh era with reimagined arrangements of timeless works by Riccardo Cocciante, Matia Bazar, Umberto Tozzi, Eros Ramazzotti, Alan Sorrenti and Pooh. Powered by a dynamic band with brass, vocals, guitar, piano, bass, and drums, the result is a rich, sophisticated concert experience celebrating the global appeal of true Italian Soul.
